Yellow Jackets: Yellow jackets are aggressive wasps that build large paper nests in the ground, wall voids, and structural cavities. They are highly defensive of their colonies and will sting repeatedly when threatened. In commercial facilities, yellow jackets are commonly found near dumpsters, loading docks, and outdoor break areas where food and beverages are present.

Paper Wasps: Paper wasps build open, umbrella-shaped nests under eaves, rafters, and overhangs. While less aggressive than yellow jackets, they will sting if their nest is disturbed. Their nests are frequently found on the exterior of warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and storage buildings throughout Southeast Texas.

Mud Daubers: Mud daubers are solitary wasps that construct small mud tubes on walls, beams, and structural surfaces. They are generally non-aggressive but their nests can damage surfaces and signal larger pest activity nearby. Common in industrial and warehouse environments across the Gulf Coast region.
