Tick Encounters Outdoors: Staff working near grass, landscaping, or wooded areas may find ticks attached after shifts. Even a single tick found on-site suggests the grounds are harboring populations that need treatment.

Flea Dirt and Debris: Black specks resembling ground pepper, commonly called “flea dirt,” appear on floors, furniture, or pet bedding. This is dried blood from feeding fleas and a clear sign of an infestation.

Animal Activity: Stray animals, rodents, or wildlife around a property often carry fleas and ticks that spread indoors. Increased sightings of these hosts often parallel rising pest activity.
